The Battle of Britain was the first all-air battle in history and one of the most important battles of World War 2. Declaring that the Battle of France is over on June 18, 1940, the Battle of Britain was to take place. Hitler had suddenly gained his attention toward Britain after having France surrender to Germany. It was fought between mid July and September, 1940. The battle was between the RAF and Luftwaffe, British and German air-force. The battle was part of a German plan to invade and attack the United Kingdom, which made it a very important battle. Britain was the last country to resist the Nazi Germany having it targeted. During the battle the German air-force focused on attacking the English Channel, coastal towns, and defences. They later then focused to the destruction of the RAF and attempted to force air battles between fighter planes. Germany grew frustrated by the British as they still began fighting off their attacks, in which led Hitler order to destroy London and other important cities. Hitler then realized they were failing to gain advantage, so they postponed the invasion and focused on the Soviet Union. Germany still continues to bomb Britain until the end of WW2.
Pearl Harbor:
Pearl Harbor was the start of the the second world war for the United States. Even though it was unexpected people could not believe the Japanese would attack the United States, especially on American territory, due to the inconvenience of Hawaii being 4,000 miles away from Japan. The attack had left 2,403 dead, 188 destroyed planes and a Pacific Fleet that included 8 destroyed battleships. About three had surprise attack the United States and had been preparing for war for decades. They were especially ready to succeed after overcoming the great depression. The attack of Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th, 1941 just before 8am. That morning hundreds of Japanese fighter planes had attacked an American naval base called Pearl Harbor in Hawaii near Honolulu. Many hours later Japanese planes began a day-long attack on American facilities in the Philippines. The attack crippled and destroyed 18 american ships and 300 airplanes, 1,000 men were wounded and about 2,500 were killed. The U.S Navy were able to recover quickly after the attack because the Japanese failed to destroy the Pacific Fleet. The United States then declared war against Japan on December 8, 1941. Later Germany and Italy, Japanese allies, declared war on the U.S causing WW2.

The British and French were pushed back by the movement and the British eventually evacuated their force with the French. Now France was left to fight for themselves, which caused Case Red. The French wanted peace with Germany, which caused them to sign a armistice on June, 22. It was a split were Germany got the west, north, and southeast of France. Now the French remained under the control of the Axis. The second movement was the Operation Overload. Allies on the Western side helped the invaded part of France in 1944. The Battle of Moscow:
The Battle of Moscow began on October 2, 1941 and continued until January 7, 1942. German forces invaded the Soviet Union, launching Operation Barbarossa. Threats were sent to Moscow, and aware of these threats they started creating defensive lines in front of the city. After having two German panzer groups attack them, they did not stop fighting back, making the Germans slow down. The German troops lacked of relevant winter clothing and took losses from the T-34 tank, effected them and caused them to slow down even more. After intense fighting the Germans lost against the Russians defenses, they were forced to halt their offensives. Soviets soon later struck back in December 5. Failing at doing so, the Russians won the battle again. About one million men were killed throughout the entire battle.
