Japan and WW2
Japan and their involvement in World War II
Japan was apart of a big involvement during World War 2. Japan was in a social and economic crisis, the country was also devastated from natural disasters. Until a communist movement became popular, there were on the edge of an uprising. Zealots tried to clean Japan from all the assasination by murdering its leaders. The assassins were considered heroes by the public and were eventually released. A little later the United States and other powers refused to accept the new independent state of Manchukuo consisting of conquered lands taken from China. This drew up heat for Japan causing them to attack America, creating the Battle of Pearl Harbor. This is how Japan became involved in World War 2. Japan was more on the Axis side. There were two leaders in Japan during World War 2. The prime minister of Japan was Hideki Tojo and the emperor was Hirohito. The prime minister decided to attack America. Japan was a constitutional monarchy during World War 2, due to having a emperor. The impact they had on America caused the Japanese Americans to go to internment camps. Propaganda was mostly used to inspire citizens to help in the war effort and mostly went by through posters.
